We have a very full agenda for the upcoming membership meeting so it will start
promptly at 7:30.
In a make up for the meeting that got snowed out, Kirk Bennion will be our
featured speaker. An excerpt from my announcement for that meeting :
Kirk has been a leading figure in Corvette development.  Kirk joined GM Design
following 1984 graduation from the Cleveland Institute of Art.  Since then,
he's served increasingly important roles with each Corvette generation,
currently assigned as Corvette Design Manager.

We have 3 other speakers scheduled also. The Rally Sport Region of the Porsche
Club of America has expressed and interest in some cross participation in
events with us and spoke with the competition committee. They will be given a
short time (as will all of these additional guest) to tell us about their track
day and social events. If you have an interest in track days, they do an
excellent job. I already have their fall color tour on my calendar.

Larry Courtney will tell us of the pre-dream cruise Corvette activities he has
planned. A full week for sure.

Gary Drago will fill us in on the most rapidly growing show in Michigan, Back
to the Bricks in Flint. In addition to all the other cars, they are
anticipating 500 Corvettes for this gala. Also on my personal calendar.

A footnote to these additional guests. I will bring a timer and limit you to 15
minutes. Please plan accordingly.

The coffee pots will be full for this meeting.  :-)

thanks Fred.

BTW, we are on a month to month volunteer basis to have the coffee and donuts
picked up and Fred has been the sole volunteer this year. So I hope that
someone else will step up for August. Our June and July meetings will be
off-site.

C U there

Bruce
