ETHICS IS THE NAME OF THE GAME:
We have taken the folkloric habit to prostitute terms so to create
confusion in order to open the venues to vulgar corruption.Examples:
Protect and serve has been changed to: to be protected you have to serve
(Bribe). Intelligence has been converted to malicious,
thief Etc...We have no more civics and moral teaching in
our school system. We highly tax the things that we cannot produce and
barely tax the agricultural products that we can and still produce.We
encourage our children to eat imported corn flakes while our traditional
"Mayi moulen" is becoming less and less popular. Question: Who can tell
how many pound of rice we consume in a year in Haiti? Who
can tell what percentage of it we produce? Latibonit, Hinch, Anse a Veau,
Torbec,...? Who can tell if the Quota for import for that
product is calculated on our production capacity? Who can
tell if the tax collected on such a strategic product, if any, goes to
financing the local peasant farmers?Yes our youth will return on their
land,... when we show respect and protection to them, their production.We
must agree to be Haitians to be able to bear our responsibilities!
