The battle to secure Haiti= =E2=80=99s most essential resource=E2=80=9D. The film is a 25-minute window into the challenges of turning around the public water service in Port-au-Prince. It is also a tool for dialogue with academics, aid workers, and the Haitian community, which is why Miami=E2=80= =99s Little Haiti Cultural Center will host a screening, panel discussion and reception for the film on Thursday, October 30th, at 6:30 p.m. Following the screening, Miami Herald Caribbean Correspondent Jacqueline Charles will moderate the panel discussion with Haitian-American community development consultant Leonie Hermantin; Agustin Filippo, the IDB=E2=80=99s= lead specialist for Haiti operations; Corinne Cathala, a senior specialist in the IDB=E2=80=99s Water and Sanitation Division; and David R. Adams, the vi= ce president of international missions for Cross International and the former director of USAID in Haiti. The event is free and open to the public.
