Wireless RouterYou might wanna wait for a version 2.0 spec on N. hardware. I am
gonna wait till N comes out I hope. But I may have to fogo with it. But I wann
remove the old Microsoft one for two reasons. old 11b, and printer cannot reach
the 54g. Also MAC address filtering does not work if you go through the weak
Microsoft router.

I may just go for a N. Cause it should be about the same as SRX. I want the
1000Mbs one too cause my laptop and the desktop support it.

Thank you,

  Subject: [CTS] Wireless Router

Does anyone have a recommendation on brand, I was thinking Linksys or D-link.
Also, is the N standard worth the extra 50 to 60 bucks over the G. I haven't
been keeping up with the differences between the wireless standards. I
currently have the wireless portion of my router turned off because I have most
of my house hardwired. Of course, I (actually my wife and daughter) now want to
have a computer in the one room of the house that is impossible or practical to
get an Ethernet drop in. I am currently using a wireless router (I think it is
802.11b) that came free with a laptop I bought from Dell 3 or 4 years back
basically as a DHCP server. Any and all opinions welcome. Thanks.
