It sounds like a reset button.

RINTR SW; maybe INTER could be "Interrupt" SW could be "Switch".. not sure what 
"R" would be for though..  but I'm guessing that it all boils down to a reset 
button of some sort?

I bought an old case, and on the back it has a small push button.  On 
the inside of case, 2 wires are attached to the switch, and the label on 
the plug at the end of wires is labelled "RINTR SW"
Anyone know what this might be used for?
