[CTS] Identifying SDRAM

Hi there, anybody know how to identify SDRAM from the numbers printed on
the chips?
I know its a 256kb strip of PC133 memory but it won't work in my Gigabyte
GA-5AX m/board. This board runs at 100 MHz but I'm trying to find out if
the PC133 memory will also work Ok at 100MHz or why it's not working.
