Ok guys, Here's an email I got from a coworkers sister..the last time I worked
on this machine was maybe early last spring, or early last winter..the odds of
this problem being from the BIOS changes I made back then and not showing up
till now are pretty slim?? I'm thinking power supply, if she swaps everything
out, to another machine, it works fine...

Hi Bruce ........how are ya GUY!!!! pretty busy from what i hear....didn't
hear from you so i thought i would e-mail you. I was able to get on my computer
this morning.... it decided to start after several reboots. I'am alittle
puzzled on this one.
I don't know what's going on !!!! It's a new board.....remember P4 2.5ghz,
this is the problem: I have to reboot several times for it to connect to the
OS. I'll turn the computer on, it starts ...it goes to cd-rom first, it's
suppose to go to harddrive ....but doesn't...it goes to floppy and it does this
constantly. and maybe ...if i'm lucky, it connects.......When you were here you
changed the bios not to accces the 2nd harddrive which had windows Me on it
(YUK). thinking that my other harddrive was going bad .....I when in to the
bios and had it access the 2nd one....but it didn't work
Here's what i did .....thinking it was a hardware problem. I've switched
everything out
to make sure it wasn't the memory, harddrive, video card . I tried both
harddrives in different machines.....videocard,memory... everything worked
fine. SO....I put everything back. The one thing i didn't put back was the 2nd
harddrive,(win Me).
But...now that i think about it ...i never went back and switched the bios to
not access that 2nd harddrive. Do you think that's it???? I don't know

if I restart this computer.... I might not be able to get back on. Once the the
computer is on.......it's fine, I can access my roadrunner and so on. but if i
restart it
i might not be able to get back on after several reboots.. what do you think??
I'm going to try to restart and try and get into the bios to fix the access to
the 2nd harddrive. so...I'll try and get to my e-mail as soon as i
can......hope you can help or other wise, i'm going to have to bring it to a
shop......which he will charge me an arm and a leg to just look at it...be safe
and i hope to talk to you soon.
