Interesting :) Well, my Internet performance is almost back to normal. After it happened traffic was bouncing all over the place (for example, traceroute to my friend who lives 5 minutes drive away revealed it going to Sydney then San Francisco, New York, and back). Telstra who uses this cable was been routing all their traffic over the Internet Provider I use (Cable and Wireless Optus) so it has been a little slower.
