The post is attached to the AHRC Follow-on Fund Research Project ‘Women and Independence in Latin America: A New Multimedia Community-Contributed and Community-Driven Online Resource’ with Principal Investigator Professor Catherine Davies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a digital resource in close collaboration with technical and academic teams at the University of Nottingham. They will be expected to undertake original research in the UK and Latin America and will be trained to create new content and manage the digital tool, input data and translate existing database entries into Spanish. The duties will include outreach and knowledge transfer activities mainly in London and Buenos Aires, and frequent travel in and outside the UK. *Candidates must have a PhD, in Latin American/Hispanic Studies/Women’s Studies or equivalent*, excellent computer skills, and familiarity with social media. Knowledge and experience in working with or the creation and development of web pages, apps and mobile devices is desirable. Candidates must have native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish. Hours of work are 27 per week, to be agreed. Although the project is based in Nottingham, the successful candidate will be expected to work in London and in Latin America for lengthy periods.
