45th Annual Urban Affairs Association Conference (Miami, FL)--- Call
for Participation
****The abstract/proposal deadline is October 1, 2014****
The Urban Affairs Association (UAA), the international professional
organization for urban scholars, researchers, and public
service/nonprofit professionals, will host its 45th Annual Conference
in Miami, Florida in the spring of 2015 (April 8-11) and is currently
accepting abstracts/proposals. This year’s conference theme is:
“Transnationalism from Above and Below: The Dynamics of Place-making
in the Global City”. However, in keeping with its tradition, UAA also
encourages proposals that focus on an array of research topics. For a

Some notable Conference activities include: a Special Conference Track
on Geopolitics in Latin America, a Special Conference Track on Urban

Publishing), and a Workshop on Urban Education Policy Advocacy.
