I know PCQ Linux 8.0 is a striped down version of the Red Hat =
distribution.
I am not positive but the primary way to provide interop between windows =
and
Linux was a centralized LDAP. And of course using samba for all of the
network shares, but since Micro$oft changed their mind about charging =
for
their Unix3.5 tools for windows, which can be downloaded for free now.
There may be a lot more possibilities for integrating Unix/Linux and =
windows
systems.

Does anybody have any experience with or insight about "PCQ Linux" and
especially its
application as a primary or backup domain controller on a Windows LAN? =
We
hear that
it together with only Samba 3 can be employed as the OS on a BDC.
