This multidisciplinary course is intended for a wide audience, including health development practitioners, health and development donors, civil society representatives, students and mid-level government officials working in the area of global health. The objective of the course is for students to acquire practical foundations in health system strengthening by:**** 1) Understanding current dynamics and trends in global health and global health governance**** 2) Understanding how these dynamics play out in local national health systems**** 3) Develop strategies for how to navigate in this changing scene in support of health systems and policy strengthening.**** ** ** Prospective students should have, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Preference will be given to students who have a Master’s degree from any related discipline or five years of experience in a related area.
