I found a hoax that had three different examples that were
used to try to get people to panic. This hoax said that an e-mail named ?A
Virtual Card for You? is sent and when opened it forwards itself to everyone
on your address list and freezes the computer. When ctrl+alt+del or the
reset buttons are used the sector zero on the hard drive or the spot on the
hard drive where the Master Boot Records are, are erased, preventing the
computer from booting ever again without being reformatted.
