Hi,
I just did a casual search and found it available for purchase as a dvd. They
referred me to the National Film Board for theatrical rights.

You made reference to international shipping. Would I be correct in assuming
that this film may only be available in 35mm and not in digital formats and
therefore the shipping costs would be higher than for films available in
digital formats?

Yes, I would consider it a possible impediment. At the very least, we would
likely have to pay international shipping. But we can certainly try, and I’m
willing to. You’d just need an alternate.

Sam apparently has done a little research on finding out how to arrange a
screening for “MON ONCLE ANTOINE.” We had considered showing this film last
year before changing to screen “THE WORLD OF APU” as our classic film. While
Janus had held the US rights in the past, they no longer have those rights
and have directed us to the National Film Board of Canada. My recollection
is that this is the same situation as existed last year. I believe that this
was considered problematic and contributed to our decision to go with “THE
WORLD OF APU.” Would you consider this situation an impediment of any kind
should we decide that we would like to show “MON ONCLE ANTOINE” ? If you
could respond “reply all” this will let everyone in our group know. Thanks,
Joel

Hello Sam,
You would contact the National Film Board of Canada. I don't have a direct
