The Cansmart Group (CANSMART) and the Canadian Institute of NDE (CINDE) invite you to attend the International Workshop on Smart Materials & Structures and NDE in Aerospace to be held in conjunction with the NDT in Canada 2011 conference. All activities associated with this event will be held in Montreal, Quebec, Canada from November 2-4, 2011. Please mark the above dates on your calendar and pass this information to any of your colleagues who might be interested.
CINDE’s objective is to provide NDT practitioners and industry professionals an opportunity to share their experiences and knowledge about Materials, Structures and Aerospace NDE while learning more about education, certification and current NDT technologies for these subject areas.
CANSMART’s objective is to promote the emerging technologies of structural health monitoring and smart materials & structures in Canada and the world.
The program will include Exhibitors, Sponsors, a Career Zone and keynote lectures, authors / presenters and their associated papers. The Organising Committee invites papers from academic researchers and industrial practitioners from Canada and the International Community to interact, network and explore the potential of possible collaborations on presentations or projects of mutual interest. Special sessions featuring national and international speakers will address the current outlook for smart materials, smart structures and associated NDE.
Abstract Submission
The deadline for abstract submissions is May 15, 2011. Abstracts describing the relevance and outcome of the paper or presentation should be 100 -300 words, and include the title, principal and associated authors, their academic or company affiliation, and complete contact information including business phone numbers, street address, email address and website URL where applicable.
