Concerning the new screenshot: Gaby Chaudry isn't totally unknown to me - she collects old computers (mostly 8 bit ones) and also has a little museum at www.gaby.de. This screenshot seems to be from her 486DX-33 box she once mentioned in the newsgroup de.alt.folklore.computer. 50 downloads of German Calmira in just a week seems pretty astonishing to me - obviously there are many Win 3.1x boxes out there just waiting for a new shell. BTW: I got some info concerning the driver syshook.drv that solves problems with low memory. This driver can put aside a certain amount of low memory (size defined by system.ini, [386Enh], lowreservoir=<size/KB>) before memory hogs like display drivers and such can occupy them. Seems to work fine so far, and it's obviously more compatible than Fix1MB. I didn't know that b4 because I didn't have the original documentation. I'll upload a new version of syshook.zip onto my home page soon. Concerning Ctrl-Tab (this problem keeps bugging me ;): Couldn't the user decide whether it should be used for switching Calmira's windows or for switching tabs? Just another suggestion: Couldn't the format of the time in file properties dialogs be changed according to the 24 hour clock setting in calmira.ini? Although I've set the time format to 24 hours (which works fine for the clock in the tray), times in those dialogs still appear in 12 hour AM/PM format.
