<CT> Crash guard wanted

Hi everyone:
Some time ago there was some discussion about a freeware program that
helped to avoid crashes. I thought it might have been called crashguard
or something like that. I used the program and it worked very well for
me. But I had to reinstall Windows and the program disappeared
(overwritten I assume). Does anyone know of the program that I'm
referring to and where I can get it?
