Hello everyone. May I start by wishing you all a happy new
year.
Last year I did not do much book reading, and I decided that
things would change this year. And, what a start! Yesterday I
began reading Tick Tock, by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge.
It stars Detective Michael Bennett, and this is my first
experience of novels containing this police officer. Someone is
doing a lot of killing in New York. As well as following the
progress of the crimes, we also delve into the officer's family
life. The book is modern, and refers to things such as
i-phones, and when it refers to songs on the radio, they are ones
we know.
This is the best book I have come across for some time. Last
night I even had a dream which added to the story, but I doubt
that my dream will be re-lived in the book, but what a
coincidence it would be if my dream was right.
Best wishes,
Peter
