On PM tonight they say she was 94 and died in her sleep. The very best way
to go! I think I have read all her books, as I am a huge fan of both her
and Ruth Rendell. Apparently they were great friends, and if you want to
read more about P D James' life, she wrote a diary of a year called Time to
be in Earnest, which shows how much she packed into her life and the
tragedies in her family with which she had to cope.
