I say the following.
Since the Tower gives you both a visual and ILS assigned runways, why go and
grab the weather?
That’s just my two cnets on the topic.

When I get the local weather before landing, I am assuming when I tell Michelle
that we have the weather that she goes back to the tower frequency. Am I
assuming coorectly?
