Hi Robert, I did try saying that, holding down the key I set for the switch and without holding it.. But when I activated the switch prematurely, I was without communication, like being desserted. I restored back to Ver 264, and will reinstall 265. I just need to know how to access keys should this happen again. I don't think it's an IYP issue. Rather, when I move over to the IYP program, well, Microsoft takes over, losing focus on the IYP window and putting me back in FS menues. (lol) And it is also that the screenreaders have problems reading mouse functions, although with todays technology, that makes no sense. I hope to learn how to deal with this, as I want to give demos of IYP and expand the growth of the BVI pilots. I hope this helps explain it. I can alt tab to IYP and have the window in focus but SA does not see that it is in focus until I find the mouse pointer and click in the IYP window. Then I can navigate using alt O etc. There has to be a solution to this but I have not figured it out. I had the flight loaded, ready to go. Then I activated IYP and opened the options panel. I set the microphone switch so I could demonstrate with a speaker in the room. Can't have other passengers without it! (lol) I made the mistake of activating the switch too soon. I should have waited to let the system restart before doing that. I know the simplest way is to uninstall and reinstall, which is what I will do. But when I do a demmo, what is the way I can get to the options panel should this happen again? I tried alt-tabbing to the IYP program, but MS flight simulator took over the area of program focus. I use both Window-Eyes and or NVDA. The keystrokes are simillar to Jaws on NVDA. Please help! Also, when I can get to IYP, the keys, alt-o don't give option panel access either. I hope I gave you all some good detail. And I thank you for your help. Best regards, Adam Shaible Adam B.
