If you wish to become more "nerdish", you can open the file entitled F5.CSV
located in the root folder of the simulator to get all relevant MS-ATC
frequencies.

One of the things I like about PilotEdge is that you do use the real-world
frequencies, and can look them up like this, though predicting where you’ll
be handed off to is somewhat discouraged on their part. It’s still very
cool to be able to call in on the real-world clearance/departure/whatever,
depending on where you are. They apparently do some fancy modeling of
transmitter locations and such to make the experience authentic. The one
downside is that it’s limited to the western US only, and has a
subscription fee. Still, I highly recommend them.
