Hi,
I performed the same flight from KEDW to KFLG in a CRJ 700 using MS-ATC
with the standard FSX simulator. I do not use Radar Contact because I have
found that the asssigned approaches to many airports (especially for BVI
pilots) are extremely problematic. I conducted the flight as a BVI pilot
by using my wireless headset while residing in an adjacent room, being 20
feet from my PC. The flight was exectued perfectly from start to finish. I
experienced a completely "text book" IYP flight.
I experienced no issues with the Auto Pilot Engage switch.
I filed a PIREP which can be reviewed in the IYP Pilots' Lounge under my
test ID - PILOT # 12337. For those who may be interested in the CVRT

tomorrow. Now that I have discovered that I was not using the correct
commands for some parts of RC4, I am kind of thinking that it was me
turning something on or off that I did not know about.

Jordan,
I believe this is expected behavior in the CRJ, or at least something to
do with that particular aircraft. Perhaps Robert can elaborate, but I heard
the autopilot turn off in one of Orin’s streams the other day too, I
believe.

on as far as I know, and I am wondering if I did something to change
something in the IYP settings to cause this odd behavior. I can definitely
say that I don’t think something with RC4 is causing this because the
flight I did a few nights ago in a B17 from CA90 to KEDW went fine.
