Moritz,

I have a few thoughts. To start with, traffic at 100% for MyTraffic is going to 
be unrealistically crowded. The suggestion is for realism to set GA and 
aviation traffic between, say, 30 and 50. You could do this in the FSX 
Customize dialog, on the traffic tab.

Beyond that, how long were you waiting? It sometimes takes a few minutes for 
traffic to start arriving and moving, even at a larger airport. You should 
eventually hear something, even if it’s just an FSX default airline. It isn’t 
instantaneous.

As far as other add-ons are concerned, Accu-feel and ActiveSky both add 
different aspects to the simulation. AcuFeel adds sounds based on aircraft 
performance, while AciveSky air an alternative to FSX”s default weather 
handling. Both are optional but recommended if you get into this more seriously.
I would probably suggest getting used to IYP and MyTraffic first, before 
spending on more add-ons. There’s quite a lot already in the sim.
