Ps following on from my previous message the Spond app also allows you to:
- Poll people about a particular event date or multiple dates/ checking their
availability
- Select those that will take part in an event with messaging confirming
participants
- Cancel and event with attendees receiving a cancellation message.

Hi folks, Lorraine suggested we look at an app called ‘spond’
This:
- Schedules a group activity. Details of an event are sent to a pre defined
group of potential participants. This can be edited. Recipients click a
simple accept or decline. The dashboard then identifies number of people who
have accepted, who they are. Who declined, number unanswered.
- You can send a reminder to only those who haven’t answered, so reducing
messages to others.
- Messages can also be sent just to confirmed attendees
- A request for payment can be made presumably only to confirmed attendees.
- Comments can be made for each event and visible to the host ir by everyone.
I suspect that the dedicated messaging feature is a better way to communicate
with an individual or group.
- Send out invitations and check availability,
- Share photos, videos, files. So attach photo of the wreck or map reference
first background info.
- Poll members for opinions
- Collect fees from members
- Store files, documents and links eg attach picture/map/etc to the event.
- Raise funds using fund raising campaigns.
She uses it to organise 200 women/girls/parents in a local football club.
Its free with a paid upgrade which isnt needed.
Available from app store for any phone type.
