In case anyone is interested. Andrew & I did the course ages ago and it is
interesting and makes you look at your surroundings in a different way – not
suitable for wrekkies!!!!
We never went on any of their dives although I did try to put into practice
some of the techniques for a few dives and now use a camera to help me.
We are away that date or I may have done it again – memory not very good so
need a refresher.

Dear Seasearchers,
On Saturday 22nd April we are running a Seasearch Observer Course at Tyland
Barn Visitor Centre near Maidstone. This is ideal for those of you new to
Seasearch surveying, or keen to refresh your skills.
It is an introductory, one-day course, which will enable you to recognise and
record essential habitat and marine life information onto the Seasearch
Observation Form. It also prepares you to undertake Seasearch dives
independently, with your club, or on organised Seasearch events.
The cost of the workshop is £45 and this includes a pack and a qualification
booklet. If you have already attended a Seasearch Observer course, you can come
along for free as a refresher (please do still complete the booking form and
return to me though).
