various ponds in western Washington Co., TN
Am. Wigeon - 1 female, lingering at Bush Hog pond
Pied-billed Grebe - 1
Great Egret - 1
Black-cr. Night-Heron - 1 imm., Bowmantown Rd.
(first I've ever seen in this part of Co.)
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Solitary Sandpiper - 3
It's interesting to note that over the last several years Bush Hog
pond has hosted summer records of Blue-wg. Teal, N. Shoveler,
Green-wg. Teal, and, now, Am. Wigeon. None nested.
