Greene County: Paint Creek Corridor (PCC), Paint Mountain (PM), etc.
A couple of hours in the lower Paint Creek watershed this morning, combined
with a little birding later in the day, produced the following:
Wood Duck (2 Chuckey)
Ruffed Grouse (PM)
Wild Turkey (4 PM)
Blue-headed Vireo (9--1 Greeneville, 8 PCC and PM)
Northern Rough-winged Swallow
Brown Creeper (Hurricane Gap Rd.)
Golden-crowned Kinglet (3 Hurricane Gap Rd.)
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (PCC)
Hermit Thrush (Greeneville)
Brown Thrasher
Black-throated Green Warbler (3--2 PCC, 1 Hurricane Gap Rd.)
Yellow-throated Warbler (PCC)
Pine Warbler (PCC)
Louisiana Waterthrush (9--8 PCC, 1 PM)
Chipping Sparrow (6)
Savannah Sparrow (10)
Dark-eyed Junco (2 PCC)
Purple Finch (Greeneville)
