FS Rd 230 across Unaka Mt. from TN 395 near Erwin to TN 107 near Unicoi
Warblers:
Ovenbird - 11
Worm-eating - 3
Black-and-white - 3
Hooded - 9
Chestnut-sided - 5
Black-throated Blue - 32 (this species was found along the whole 12
mile stretch of road)
Black-throated Green - 13
Canada - 8
Selected other birds:
Ruffed Grouse - 1
Hairy Woodpecker - 1
Acadian Flycatcher - 1 (found in the cove hardwoods about 2 miles in
from TN107)
Scarlet Tanager - 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak- 1
