Sorry about earlier. I forgot to put in a subject. So if you didn't get this
here it is. Oh yeah, Wallace I birded at Boyd Ridge. It is here in Buch.Co.
It is a great place to find field birds.

Area Birders,
>
>Today my father and I went to Boyd Ridge to sight in my .270 .
>After we got done with that I did some birding. Since the area I was in was
>a big field, I thought I would get some new sparrows. The Place is two
large
>fields with scrub, bushes, briars, and woodlands. There is a large cliff on
>one side of the field.
>
>I didn't get the sparrows that I hoped for, but I did get two other
>lifebirds. The Golden-Crowned and Ruby-Crowned Kinglets. I got good looks
at
>the female RC but just a quick enough look at the GC to distinguish what he
>was.
>
>Birding was slow at first, but when I went to the lower field, it was
>better. But only common winter birds. I did manage to get a good look,
>however, at a Yellow-Rumped Warbler and my first Dark-Eyed Juncos of the
>season.
