[Bristol-Birds] South Holston Lake and River Cleanup

The 16th annual South Holston Lake and River Cleanup is set for Saturday,
August 9, 2008.
If you bird this area, then I am sure that you will want to do your part in
helping to keep it clean and free of litter and trash. Mark your calendar
now--bring the family, your friends and neighbors, even your in-laws.
Registration begins at 8:00 A.M. at the following locations:
Observation Knob Pavilion
Weir Dam/Bluff City Boardwalk (river cleanup)
Hwy 421 Ramp
Little Oak Campground
Lake Views Dock
Washington County Park Ramp
Avens Bridge Ramp
Old Alvarado Station (South Holston River above Lake)
And don't forget the big cleanup party which is held at Observation Knob from
3:00-6:00. Each participant who collects three or more bags of litter will be
given a wristband that can be turned in for a free tee shirt and admission.
There will be great food, live music, and lots of door prizes!!
