Area Briders:

Following Monday's fallout of migrants at Musick's Campground on South
Holston Lake, Sullivan Co., TN / VA, the high pressure began to build in
behind the cold front and most of the downed species had departed by late in
the evening of Tuesday (9/16).

Wallace Coffey, Rack Cross and Sam Cross birdered from about 6:30 p.m. until
after dark.

Osprey 1
Great Blue Heron 2
Common Tern 6
Blue-winged Teal 17
Spotted Sandpiper 3
Belted Kingfisher 1
Common Egret 3
Green Heron 1
Canada Goose 223
Black-crowned Night-Heron 2

We enjoy a concert of howling from Coyotes near Washington Co., VA park
about 8:30 p.m. It was really fun. The Coyotes had been heard their
earlier this year.

Let's go birding....
