12October2004 Washington County, VA Sullivan County, TN South Holston Lake - Musick's Campground I stopped by Musick's Campground this evening (6-7pm), just before the rain started. I saw on the sign-in sheet that Wallace Coffey had observed five Snow Geese earlier that afternoon. I had no luck with them. There were lots of Canada Geese and Mallards around and many more ducks were flying in as it was getting dark. There were a total of seven Eared Grebes present on the Virginia side of the lake. Also observed: Pied-billed Grebe (2) Gadwall (2) Blue-winged Teal (6) Spotted Sandpiper (2) American Coot (1) Ring-billed Gull (1) Palm Warbler (5) Thomas S.
