It is with great sadness that I post the info about the passing of Mike A. “Mick” Evans, 64, of Kingsport, who died Thursday evening. Mike served in the Air Force in Vietnam and worked for First Tennessee Bank for 34 years. He was a member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. He was an avid bird watcher and conservatonist being a member of the Bristol Bird Club, the Friends of Roan Mountain, and the Sierra Club. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church. Memorial services will follow at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
