Greene County

I observed the following today:

Wood Duck
Blue-winged Teal (14)

Wild Turkey (5)

Bald Eagle (4 (2 adults, 2 subadults) at the Lick Creek Bottoms Wildlife
Management Area unit located at the intersection of Highway 348, North Mohawk
Road, and South Mohawk Road; this is one of the most astonishing birding
experiences I have ever had in Greene County; three birds flew over, headed
west, within a minute or so at about 6:05 p.m.; the fourth bird followed about
25 minutes later, headed in the same direction; before this evening, I had
recorded a total of only four Bald Eagles in the county in the last decade)

Greater Yellowlegs (Baughard Hill Road)
Solitary Sandpiper (2--1 Baughard Hill Road, 1 McMillian Road)
Wilson's Snipe (16)

Eastern Kingbird

Purple Martin (5)
Tree Swallow (34)
Northern Rough-winged Swallow (16)
Barn Swallow (17)

House Wren (7)

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher

Brown Thrasher (10)

Yellow-rumped Warbler
Common Yellowthroat (3)

Chipping Sparrow (5)
Lincoln's Sparrow (singing, Yellow Springs Road)

Purple Finch (12)
