at Foster Falls, Wythe Co.
VA 20 August 2014, Virginia

Northern Rough-winged Swallow 80
"Most of these birds were resting
on a wire that crosses the river.
Based on my observations over the
past 5 years, this species tends
to congregate in this area during
the late summer. There are usually
other species mixed in, but not
today."
