Hi Gail,
I can't tell its size or other markings, but off-hand I'd say a Sharp-Shinned
(if it was small) or Cooper's, although its legs look more like a Red-Tailed.

Hi all,
I have a hawk that I am not sure of the ID on. Wondering if someone could
help. This bird was eating a crow behind my house yesterday. Grey coloring on
back and head, breast was mottled light brown. I have a closer picture I took
through my spotting scope but is not good, very blurred. Thanks, Gail
