UP-COMING CLUB EVENTS:

1.  FIELD TRIP:  at Tipton Haynes Historic Site in Johnson City  8 to 10 a.m. 
SATURDAY, APRIL 3.  Take Exit 24 off Interstate 26 to the Historic Site.  
Leaders are Lisa Tyler and Bryan Stevens.

 

2.  CLUB MEETING:  regular APRIL club meeting TUESDAY, APRIL 6 at 7:00 p.m. in 
the Science Building at Milligan College (usual meeting place) 

                           Agenda:  elect officers, plan Spring Count, discuss 
additional field trip



                           Presentation by TOM HUNTER, Lebanon, VA, 

                                              Title:  Birds of Ecuador  Andes 
Mountains and Amazonia

                            Some of us will meet for dinner and socializing at 
Bellacino's at 5:30 p.m. prior to the meeting.  Bellacino's is on South Roan 
St. in Johnson City, south of the University Parkway intersection with South 
Roan.  Go under the railroad overpass and turn right into the Food City mall 
area.  If you are coming on Interstate 26, get off at Exit 24.

4.  FIELD TRIP:  at Tipton Haynes Historic Site SATURDAY, APRIL 10, beginning 
at 8 a.m.  Leader is Bryan Stevens


 

 

5.  SPRING BIRD COUNT,  5 county area   Saturday, April 24.  to be organized at 
the April 6 club meeting



6.  Club Meeting:  regular May club meeting, Tuesday, May 4



7.  Other up-coming events

     Spring Nature Festival, Weekend of April 16-18. Warrior's Path State Park

     Unicoi County Youth Naturalist Rally, Saturday, May 1  (more information 
at our April Meeting)

      Weekend of May 7-9, Roan Mountain Spring Naturalist Rally
