[Bristol-Birds] Herndon Bird Club Meeting Tuesday, October 6, at 7 p.m.

The regular meeting of the Herndon Bird Club will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 
October 6, 2009 at the Science Building (usual place) at Milligan College in 
Elizabethton.  

Richard Kretz of Lebanon, VA, will give a presentation on the Pinnacle Natural 
Area Preserve in Russell County, VA.  He has excellent knowledge and many 
photographs of the natural features, flora and fauna, including many birds of 
the area.

Everyone welcome.  Hope to see you there.

Also, each Saturday in October,  Bryan Stevens will lead a bird walk at 
Sycamore Shoals.  Meet in the parking lot at Sycamore Shoals at 8:00 a.m.  The 
walk held October 3rd was attended by 12 people--we had good weather and good 
birds.

Plans for the Club field trip to South Carolina October 16-19 will be finalized 
at the meeting after the presentation.
