There are two changes from our regular meeting routine for the January meeting
of the Herndon Bird Club:
1. The meeting will be the SECOND Tuesday of the month--January 14. ( Access
to Milligan College will not be available on the first Tuesday.)
2. Interested attendees will meet for dinner at 5:30 p.m. before the meeting
at ARBY's on South Roan in Johnson City--across from the ONE STOP store.
(Bellicino's, where we had met in the past, is now closed.)
ALL are WELCOME and INVITED to attend the meeting and the dinner and
socializing at Arby's before the meeting.
The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Science Building at Milligan College in
Elizabethton. Come up the entry road into the College, turn right just past
the Gregory Center (on the right) into the parking lot. The Science Building
is straight ahead as you come into the parking lot. The meeting will be in a
room on the right just as you enter the Science Building.
The program presentation will be given by club vice-president Kathy Noblet on
the Club Field Trip to North Carolina in October, 2013. Agenda items will
include planning of field trips for January, preliminary discussions on the
Club Banquet and Picnic, information on the Great Backyard Bird Count in
February, and consideration of some requests from the State (TOS) organization.
