Bristol Birders:

While birding at River's Way Outdoor Adventure Center (located about two
miles below the South Holston Dam) on Sunday, February 9, I spotted a Hermit
Thrush feeding along the bank of a small island. Also present were several
Yellow-rumped Warblers, and a Phoebe. The latter was apparently interested in
the midges and blue-winged olive flies drifting on the water. On Wednesday,
February 5, I saw a Brown Creeper, five Ring-necked ducks, and two Belted
Kingfishers while flyfishing in the same area.
