This is starting to mess with my mind. For the second time in the past three weeks I have gone to a Burger King for a quick ham and egg biscuit before work. On Feb 6 as I walked out of the Burger King on E. Stone Drive I saw a Great Horned Owl fly overhead. This morning (Feb 24) around 6:50 am I visited the Burger King on west Stone Drive. As I was sitting near a large window facing toward the N. Fork Holston River eating my biscuit another Great Horned Owl flew by headed towards the Vulcan Materials Rock Quarry on the opposite bank of the river. Maybe I should start surveying the local owl populations by visiting vairous Burger Kings for a quick ham and egg biscuit? Sounds like a plan to me!
