Area Birders,
Within about an hour and a half yesterday afternoon several warbler species
came through the yard here on Compton Mt. Some of them stopped to drink and
bathe. The first Magnolia Warbler of the season showed up and was soon followed
by a Black-and-white, 2 Black-throated Greens , a female Cerulean, 3
Chestnut-sideds (1male two first year females, 3 Tennessees, 1 first year
Blackburnian, 1 Blackpoll, 1 Northern Parula and a female Hooded. Photos of a
few of them can be seen at

I'm sure there will be even more warbler species during our Warbler Day on
Sept 9th.
