8/28/2010, AM Forest Service Rd 190, Washington/Unicoi Co. near Bumpass Cove OLIVE-SIDED FLYCATCHER - 1 Found the bird atop a snag about 3 miles up the road. Had about a five minute look in good light. The bird was even accommodating enough to turn on it's perch and fluff its wings showing the "cottony tufts" described in Peterson's Field Guide. Also found a mixed species flock that did not have many birds, but had good diversity.
