Area Birders, During the summer months I have several Eastern Towhees that visit my feeders regularly, sometimes bringing their newly fledged young. I don't see many during the winter months. They appear to move down to the lower valleys, where there is more moderate weather. One intrepid male decided to visit during this last week along with three Purple Finches, large flocks of Am. Goldfinches and a flock of 25 Northern Cardinals. You can take a look at him at this address http://www.bcplnet.org/birdclub/gallery/ETowhee.htm Enjoy the birds, Roger Mayhorn Grundy, VA ************************************************* BRISTOL BIRDS NET LIST This is a regional birding list sponsored by the Bristol Bird Club to facilitate communications between birders and bird clubs of Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee.
