Herndon TOS - Bristol Bird Club enjoy birding South Holston !
Nearly 20
birders
turned out
for breakfast,
waterfowling
and lunch to
bird Paddle
Creek, Weir,
SH Dam,
Musick's and
Middlebrook.
Roy Knispel and John Moyle organized
a great day of birding, getting to know
new birding friends, enjoying a cold day
afield and sharing in some fun birds.
Rick Knight was a super field trip leader.
Roy Knispel will post a report and field list of birds seen today.
Birding in the cold to seek the elusive Pine Warbler was a challenge.
Thanks to all the dedicated birders from the Herndon Chapter and BBC
who made a cold day much warmer with great fellowship.
