Wilma Boy and I saw approximately 10 Chimney Swifts circling around the Bluff City United Methodist Church yesterday afternoon. They were not ready to go to roost but were circling in that vicinity. We have seen them go to roost in the church in past years, however, this is the first time we had seen them there this summer.
Also we had an Eastern Meadowlark singing from a fence post on the farm this morning.
