Sam's Gap (on Appalachian Trail, going west)
Cerulean Warbler - 1
This was found following a report on Carolinabirds.
This species is very rare on the western edge of the Blue Ridge;
in fact, among warblers only Connecticut is more rare in Northeast Tenn.
Also had 2 Blackburnians in same area.

Rocky Fork
Golden-crowned Kinglet - 1, singing
Found in hemlocks at 2520 ft. elevation in deep, cool gorge; usually only occurs
in spruce-fir belt at high elevation in summer.
