At 10 AM there was a single Ross's Goose in the field with the Canada Geese at
Rasor Farm.
Other waterfowl of interest in Carter Co. this morning were:
Hooded Merganser female, Great Lakes Pond
Redhead and Lesser Scaup females, one each, Old Stoney Creek Rd.
Wood Ducks, 2 on Watauga River near Sycamore Shoals Rd, and 5 at Rasor Farm
Buffleheads, still scattered all over Watauga River and Wilbur Lake
