While biking the new Tweetsie Trail between Johnson City and Elizabethton today, Joan and I, along with daughter Jill and her husband, Jamie, heard a Broad-winged Hawk calling several times near mile marker 3.5. Never could spot it but the call was loud and distinct. Kinda interesting this time of year.
